In the Dominican Republic, many families are impoverished and the public schools are poorly resourced. Boys there are likely to drop out of school, misuse drugs or alcohol, or engage in criminal activity—which dramatically limits their future success.
InspireDR provides free after-school and summer programs to teach boys practical life skills and instill positive values. We teach mutual respect and build self-esteem which empowers them to passionately pursue their dreams and positively impact their communities.
Since we launched in 2015, we’ve helped more than 100 boys on their path toward being responsible men, husbands, and fathers.
Help provide a permanent home for the Boys Club.
The boys in our programs deserve a positive and secure space to learn and grow. Our lease ends next year and we don’t want the boys to lose access to our wonderful facilities.
